Seatbelt warning chirp/chime

Featured Replies

Does anyone have a picture of which wire/s I need to disconnect under the seat to turn this off?! I've read it's a connector with a pair of yellow/blue wires but I can't see them, and the fact it's an L&K with the memory seats means there's feckin' hundreds of connectors underneath the seat!

I don't wanna pull the wrong ones so that's why I'm wondering does anyone have any picks of the right ones?

First person to show me wins a chocolate frog!

Cheers,

Matt

Mine is with electric seats, sound system and all other toys you can imagine. To disconnect the wire was easy. Keep in mind that wires are attached to the seat, they are not on the floor. Floor is full of other wires. Lift up the seat and push it back max. Take the flashlight, kneel down on the floor outside the car and put your head on the driver's footwell. Now look under the seat and you'll see only two wires attached bellow. One is airbag and other is seatbelt. If you have any doubt, follow the cable from the seatbelt buckle.

As for the photo, I wouldn't expect it as it's almost impossible to get the camera down there but someone maybe tries.

You dont need to disconnect any wire, just need someone with vag-com to turn it off. The wire disconnect is not recommened, as its unknown what other safety features get disabled.

have a look in the vag com section for someone living near to you and pm them, they will be able to knock it off with a vag com in a few seconds.
