CD Player on my Felicia

Featured Replies

Hi

I would like to mount a CD player on my Felicia 1.3 but I have 2 problems:

1. Where should I connect +/- 12 V ? (connector code on schematics if possible)

2. My Felicia has no outside antenna, just a plastic cover over a hole on the roof. How should I install antenna and most importantly, how to connect it all the way to dashboard?

Thanks

The wiring might be there.

I think you'll need to fix the aerial to the roof then feed the cable through the headlining or down the side of the car to behind the dash.

Or maybe someone like TeflonTom or someone will tell you as I haven't done this myself.

I think normal route is underhead lining and down the A pillar, as said above i would think radio power wiring is behind the dash/centre console already,on mine it comes in from the left or fusebox side of dash good luck:thumbup:

1. Would be a good idea to feed power from the inside circuit of lighter socket ?

2. Wiring antenna circuit with a 75 ohms cable means that I need to strip down the inner roof upholstery ? :(

had the same problem, i didnt fit an aerial for the radio but the original power socket was there even though my motor never had a radio its a simple matter of plugin the power to the power (RED) the memory (ORANGE WIRE WITH WHITE STRIPE) and the Ground (black) i just joined them by removing the block of the radio and soldering the wires to the write wires in the bloc kon the car..works dead on..good luck

And the power socket for radio is near lighter socket ?

Is it easy reachable or do I need to pull out the dashboard?

If I only had a Felicia Service Manual...
