Boot Accessories

Featured Replies

Hello all

I used to own a saab 93 sportwagon and had the oem boot guard to stp my dog jumping into out of the boot into the rear of the car. I also had a saab boot divider which vertically seperated the boot into two compartments so that you could have luggage on one side and dog on the other. My question is , does any one know of such a skoda accessory for my octavia estate?

Well of course.

I don't know where you're coming from, but I think you'll be able to find it also on your own.

Thanks for your reply, but I already have the boot guard (skoda own item) as detailed in the picture that you have attached to your post. I am after a 'divider' that would attach to the dog guard in your picture (forming a T shape if viewed from above with car roof's removed) , threby not only preventing the dog getting into the car passenger compartment but also dividing the remaining boot into two sections, (split down the middle).

I only ask as i was able to buy such an item from my old saab dealer....

I know what you mean, like a kitchen cutlery drawer!

you could easily concopt something with a bit of mdf, not seen any skoda accessories though sorry.

Hi,

As a new Skoda owner (coming from a Rover - yes I know) Barjo make a rang of custom cages/dividers and tall gate guards.

See more at:

Barjo

However you will have to phone as web site has not been updated for Skoda Oct 2. The old car had dog guard and a divider from them and my new Skoda has a Barjo dog guard and the tail gate, latter is really useful as you can have boot open but dog still locked in and saves the risk if he too keen on the impending walk and jumps right out.

The finish is top class and well worth the price, go to any dog show etc and your hard pressed to find car without Barjo 'cages' installed plus guide dog and police use a lot of there kit. There stuff is not painted on but electroplated, meaning of your dog chews it or age no sharp paint comes off.

James.
