Another dealer bites the dust

Featured Replies

Just seen in my local paper details of a liquidation sale for Lea Hall Motors in Rugeley. This is (was) a long established dealer. They had just had the corporate refit to bring the showroom up to Skoda spec and were always busy - especially the workshop. If a dealer this well established can go under then any of them can. Does anyone know what caused their demise?

Spent too much I guess.

thats a shame, i used Lea Hall on 2 occasions and found them very helpful and quick.

like you said they always seemed to be busy, can't understand this really.

I was in process of buying my Vrs with Lea Hall when I found out they'd gone bust. I had paid a deposit and the car was due. Luckily Skoda honoured the deposit and the deal went to a garage in Bilston and have had the Vrs for 4weeks now.

It seems that Lea hall was a profitable dealership and went into voluntary liquidation, which seems a great shame as they were a friendly dealership and this would have been the second fabia that we bought from them.

Autosales in bilston is a good dealer also though, dont know how local it is to you but i found them excellent a week or so ago when my octy went in for its 10K service.

hi all great shame that lea hall went into liquidation but that give us (autosales) the chance to open another dealer in cannock which autosales have took on most of the lea hall work force so the friendly faces you where use to will now be at autosales cannock..
