I was doing some work this evening which necessitated the removal of my Symphony head unit. After re-connecting the head unit entered the code but can't remember which button to press to get the head unit to accept the code?? Can anybody tell me which button I press??? Checked the manual but it's for a tape head unit not a cd one..!

When you have the code entered, press the AS and RDS buttons simultaneously.

Which head unit is it? Does it have a model code on it?

I seem to remember it being one of the arrow keys you use to tune the radio in with and the one with just one arrow pointing towards the drivers side rings bells. Hope this is right?

yeah raveon you got it in one this is correct use the preset numbers 1 to 4 to enter the code then hold down the right arrow ket till the head unit beeps however sometimes if you have the radio switched on and turn the ignition on and off a few times it will fire up itself!!!!

I think you'll find some radios know what car they are fitted to so do not require a code to be entered. You can simply turn the ignition on and then the radio and after a small wait it will start up with no code. How ever if you fit the radio to a different vehicle it will normally require the code to be entered.
