Does anyone have 0-60 times os a fabia vrs remapped to 160ish? cheers

7-8 secs

Using this Car Stats - Calculator and a kerb weight of 1315Kg's you get 8.49sec's to 60. Which is a pretty good estimate. Have a play.

I used it when entering my Rolling Road figues for my modding 106 GTi and the times were pretty much spot on down the 1/4 strip. Dont know how much the extra tourque that diesels produce will come into play though. I can imagine the 60-100 times would be slightly better.

It will give you about 7.2 - 7.5 s but 0-60 with a diesel is pretty irrelevant. In gear acceleration is the baby.:) You will be impressed.

You are right. Diesels aren't great 0-60 but I was still supprised at how well they go. My cupra compares well to my GTi off the mark. Its just the shorter ratios that do damage. The GTI did 62mph in 2nd. Not sure what the VRS/Cupra is but its never gonna do 60 in 2nd :)

I really believe those calculators are not designed with diesel cars in mind. That particular calculator, estimates the standard vRS to hit 60 in over 10 seconds, I believe that a standard car will do it in around 8.5, and a remapped one in the mid to high 7's.

I have done 7,1s at my remap before i upgrade to a bigger turbo :)

The time i get from G-Tech pro.

my standard 04 plated will do it in 8.2

6.8 to 60 on the drag strip timing gear at york raceway, but i have a little more torque than the average re map

Unlike most others though, you can get all that power down without bits of your transmission being left all over the road

thats the same fig as Autocar achieved

So technically that 04 plate will have the ASZ engine and as the BLT engines usually have more power stock that should mean that my car's 0-60 should be equal to or better than that :D

No? :P

between 6 and 6.5 in my remapped baby ;)
