Well, I'm afraid to say that if that kit becomes available for all to purchace then the Fabia vRS will end up on Barryboys getting $*** slung at it. Add a dose of stickers and it's fate is sealed. The Skoda's have a reputation for being a subdued 'inteligent' choice. Once that sort of 'kit' starts getting bolted on, then it will start attracting negative comments. Had to happen sooner or later I suppose.

Way beyond barryboys. Paint it white, sticker it up and it'll look awesome

Trouble with kits is they are bolted onto a car which has been styled as a whole. If a car was meant to have big arches/bumper, then the car would have been designed as a whole to incorporate them. With CAD modeling, tiny changes result in a whole different look for the car. The stock lights are set too high for that type of bumper I think.

WRC fabia's look awesome, if the kit is anything like the original it will look good but i suspect it wont be anything liek the original WRC cars and more like the crappy replica's that have popped up over the years.

I see the following dodginess:

Photo 1: Wing held onto car with one clip inside the arch and large gaps visible inside.

Photo 2: Serious gappage by the wing/bumper join and is that a bolt holding the whole shebang together? Also wing/bumper not level at the wheelarch part.

Photo 3: More bumper/rear wing gappage and large gap by the hatch opening.

Photo 4: Look how far the rear lights are recessed - bumper extending too far.

Photo 5: Just take a look at that young ladies expression - a whole essay could be written about her thoughts....

I was going to do it too, but customise the bumper for the Fogs and get some spacers for the wheels, might still do but not till far into the future. Might just get an Octavia LE WRC instead :-p

Wide track it, and it would be a mega handling car.... humm got me thinking now

I like it but them I'm from essex so I'm pre-determined to like anything that's been "ruined" :p

If they took took the time to make it look like a Group-B Road car.. like the road version of the RS200 or SWB Quarto,.. ya know.. nice OEM looking wheels and an OEM colour like gun metal or Forest Green.. maybe even a nice plush sports interior?

of course.. this is all dependant on putting the parts on NOT using mechano and gaffa tape! So, it's unlikely in this case.. lol!

I fancied a wider arch look, but without doing the bumpers. Slightly wider and bring the arch down lower is wot i'm fancying lol

They are moulds from an original wrc car. just hope he's got the rear doors.

Will keep you updated on this and yes he has the rear doors to match

No that's just a proprietary arch and bumper kit but the other is WRC replica, the front bumper is similar though, the rest is totally different.
