MP.3 Connection ? fault

Featured Replies

Has anyone had problems with the MP.3 connection located at the back of the handbrake ?

The first time i used it with an i.pod the jackplug pushed the connection below the plastic.I took it back to the dealer, and was fixed within 1hour.

Its happened again. Having looked at this connection i noticed that there is nothing to stop said connection from falling in the console.

Does any Roomster / Fabia ii owners have the same problem?

Does anybody know how to stop this from happening again?

Any cures?

Not had a problem myself.

Is there any way you can "tape" the underside to stop it pushing down?

Not a great fix but, my stop you keep having to go back to the dealers.

not had any problem of it falling into the console but I can only push the aux lead in halfway otherwise it cuts out the speakers on one side, very odd

My Roomy has had the same problem, fixed by the dealer under Warranty. The connector is very tight when I put in the Ipod 3.5mm Jack.

Looking at the new Fabia i have noticed that they have a collar to stop the jack from falling through. I have been since told by a dealer that a few cars have been fixed under warranty, so Skoda have made an improvement.?

No problems with mine so far, I would point out the problem to the dealership and ask them for a permanent fix though.
