Nice work, the new owner is a lucky guy/girl. How much did it go for if you don't mind me asking?

Not nearly enough!!! Just under £300.....I was expecting over £500 but after the engine problems at MOT time I was honest in the advert which must have put a lot off. I had 150 watchers and after the auction I got email after email saying - I wanted to bid but I missed the end of the auction if it doesnt sell etc etc. Numpties!!!! I did strip all the nicest parts off it (wheels etc) before advertising and sold them or transferred them to the new car so it could have been worse.

OMG i'd of payed more...

Youre not alone....Ive had nothing but that since the auction finished!!! I had hoped the new owner was going to change his mind because he dithered a bit over collecting but sadly it wasnt to be.

There is no way I would want to sell my car for that money. It should have been worth more. Hope you put the money to a good use, like another Skoda.

Yep...if you go on skoda owners you'll see I have Snotty....believed to be the oldest RHD Estelle left (and one of about only 3 left) which I'm currently converting into a historic rally car and sprint/hillclimber.

Wow, Itr looks fantastic. We just don't have any cars in Ireland like that. Brilliant. Keep up the good work.

howdo very pretty erm just one thing im just getting back in to these cars, had a few in the past your bhp figure seems low,is that figure pre webber? i know im nosey

The final figure it acheived was 90bhp and that was on a fast(ish) road cam, mildly ported head (8 port obviously), full exhaust system inc. manifold, mappable ECU controlled ignition and Weber 32/36 with a filter. I think with a better cam and some ore head work 100bhp would have been possible. I am aiming for 90-100 with Snotty's 5 port engine....but its had a lot more done to it!
