Estelle 136 project photos

Featured Replies

Well, about 6 months after it should have been finished Ive finished my 136 engined Estelle. It has -60mm front springs and -30mm back, mountney steering wheel, electronic Favorit ignition, Weber 40 DCOE on banana manifold, sports exhaust, Felicia MPI big valve head, minilite replica alloys, clear lights.....and thats about it. Its just been set up on a rolling road so its running quite well. It produced about 56bhp @ wheels, but there are a few problems that will hopefully see it get nearer 70 in a week or 2s time when it goes back. Its a cracking drive......so alive!!

This car always makes me think of my [late] grandads 130LSE...reg number D904PEV. I can't quite make out the dealer details on your numberplates.

heh, think my bonnet came off a car that colour, it still is on the inside of it...

Lovely looking thing that, would love something like that as a company car

Its beige....it looks beige, its called beige....its beige!

Thanks everyone...I'm very pleased, just a few niggles to sort...like the battery not charging even with the 2nd alternator and the dent in the passenger back door.

Baby poo beige.

Happy to help. :)

Beige and brown are poised in the wings for a MASSIVE COMEBACK. We are silvered out, black is a pain to keep clean and the folly of white is all to obvious after the first splatted fly. Beige is restful on the eye, polishes up nicely and when you cruise past the big window on the high street (especially at night) beige gleams back at you in a seductive way. Beige diffuses road rage and you can get away with an occasional mistake without having the horn blown at you. I see you have the 'kinky' go-faster stripe too - makes for a 'organic' flowing feeling even when the car is still.

Skoda were the masters of beige and brown - from the creamy Pebblestone to the rich Chestnut Brown all tastes in the warmer hues are taken care of. Warm autumnal colours (Autumn Gold) made the Estelle a treat for the eye indeed. Beige satisfies.:o:cool:;)

No, I agree. The beige on the Superb/Octavia II and Roomster looks great. I think Mocha will look great on the Superb II too.

Beige always reminds me of the Austin Allegro for some reason

Am I the only one here who has a full Allegro promotional pack?:o
