Hi there, Im a first time (soon to be) Skoda owner. Ordered a lovely Black 55 reg Octy VRS from Mitchell Skoda of Cheshire Oaks. It will be my first decent (and certainly the newest) car Ive owned and I cant wait till my hopeful pickup day on Tuesday on Tues 28th (4 Days and counting!!!)

I went to Mitchells to look at a 06 VRS in blue, but fell in love with the slightly cheaper and better specced 55 VRS in black.

I had a large choice of car manufacturers and models to try and the Octy VRS came up as my first choice for cars under 12yo lol. (and third in my top 5 favourite cars of all time;) )

I always fancied the older yellow VRS's with the dark grey alloys, but have been told that resale values of yellow ones are so bad, just because of the colour :( and SWMBO wouldnt let me have a yellow one

Was browsing the web for various things about the car and this site kept cropping up and seemed to have most of the useful information so here I am.
