Wonky exhaust

Featured Replies

hi there guys, have recently fitted my full exhaust system, thing is its hanging lower than a would like(pretty dam low), and on a slight slant,

anyone else found this?

Nope mine fits fine and sits straight.

I see its a Jetex cat but what system do you have?

Common problem, you just need a new rear hanger. The rubber stretches out over time.

Simple to fit, and cheap. You don't even need to raise the car up (if it's standard height).

I think they're about £7 (including the metal bracket thing).......

Ha and i looked at his sig three times too

anyone know the part number for the rubber hanger, do powerflex do one also?

does anyone know if there is maybe a poly hangar or an uprated 1 or anything?

Powerflex are uprated and will probably last longer than the car. I bought some for my Ford focus and couldnt even get them on as theyhave little slack. But then again im not sure if they make them for the octavia.

If you buy a standard one from Skoda it will probably last a good few years, i mean my car has done 45k and is 5years old and looks fine but im changing it anywy as a precaution.

Do the other one just above the rear beam as well while your under the car.
