Front ARB Drop Links

Featured Replies

Hey,

I recently lowered my octy and now require a set of shortened drop links for the anti roll bar. Anyone know where I can get these? The suspension kit I bought didn't come with them...

Thanks,

Andrew .

Doesn't anyone know? :(

I'm trying to find them online but without much luck.

Is it a VRS?

KW do a shortened drop link for the KW coilovers, they might fit, but there again they might not, how far are you lowering the car, as I have KW3's and the standard drop links fit ok.

It is a vrs.

I'm not loweriing it by much, it's maybe only 20mm lower at the front, it was the rear i wanted to bring down cus its an estate.

The mount on the coilover body for the drop link isn't in the same place as the OE strut, hence shorter links required.

I'll investigate the KW stuff, and report back, ta.

What make are the coil-overs?

If they are made for the VRS then they should have the mounting on the strut for the arb link.

If you mean that the front doesn't have this and you want to use the shorter arb link like on non VRS models, then i'm not sure if you can do this and wouldn't anyway.

Make sure the suspension is for the VRS and not for other models as the weight WILL be different.

Does the estate even have a rear ARB?

Jaymd is correct about vRS front coilovers having mounts for droplinks on them; other models don't because the front ARB picks up on the wishbones.

Some are mis-reading the question lol..

The car is a vRS, I have fitted a correctly spec'd AP kit, and it does have fixings for the Front arb.

The standard drop links are a touch to long, and I just wanna get some shorter ones. The alternative is I cut and shut the old ones!
