Module 17 - Adaption 10 Channel 3

Featured Replies

Could someone with a VRS see if they can access Module 17 - Adaption 10 Channel 3? I've tried on my 06 VRS but it says error. This is supposed to allow you to change the trip computer accuracy.

Thanks.

Choose 16 Security Access and enter the login 13861 before going into 10 Adaption.

Thanks, I'll give that a try tomorrow.

Stu,

I tried your suggestion but the Security Access is greyed out.

Any ideas?

Thanks

What version of VAG COM are you using?

  • Author

409.1

Is yours a MKII or a very late MK1?

If it's a MKII the there lies your problem.

You need a CAN Capable cable.

If it's a MKI then you need to have a registered version to carry out adaptions.

There isn't a MKII VRS? Or have I missed your point?

Its a BLT engine if thats what you want to know.

Sorry for some reason I'd convinced myself it was an Octavia. Is your software registered or trial?

Going mad? hehe :)

Its a registered copy. Everything works as expected but this part is just greyed out.

Going mad? hehe :)

That and you assuming that all vRS' are Fabia's :D

Post up a full autoscan for us.

I was just testing you ;)

I will do a full autoscan tomorrow evening and post back the result.

Here's the auto scan, can't see any issues.

I was trying to find the label file but I can't seem to find it on my computer.

As you are a registered owner I would suggest you email Ross-Tech directly.

OK, thanks for trying anyway

Some of the Octavia (1U) clusters do not support that channel.

  • Author

Its a Fabia VRS, could it be possible it's not supported on that too?

Yep.
