Mine wasn't too bad at all.

Went to see about the stainless boost hose today, car's booked in on tuesday for the pipework testing!

Asked if he could produce more, not a problem he said! so when mine is all fitted up and ready i'll post up a new thread, see what people think and if there's enough interest, i'll see about buying in bulk?

i would be very interested in this, and and very interested in how Phil's goes as we have met b4.

Ask him to make something off the back of the turbo too, another problem area :)

What do you mean "off the back of the turbo"?

The down pipe section or something else?

He said that if there's anything needing done, i've to take the orders and he'll build it up lol

Either that or......possible site sponsor?????? ;)

Hmm, one area of my VT5 I'm chuffed with is the manifold onto the downpipe. It's a large square one with 4 bolts and has a lot more volume capacity than the traditional 3 pointed triangular affair on stock turbos/vnt17 hybrids. One area i don't like is the harsh 90 degree bend on the T.I.P, but I think the turbo is sucking in sufficient air at the moment.

The IC pipe that comes right off the back of the turbo. Mine is now a silicone hose, but the oem one, and in fact the very end of mine is a clip thing, like the rest of the pipes. Ideally I would like a full solid pipe set myself, and have no silicone or plastic or rubber along the way at all. Im sure I'm losing out on hoses compressing.

No bother Shifty, i'll get him to look at mine on tuesday and see what he thinks if thats ok mate?

If anyone wants me to find out about pipework, PM me before TUESDAY and while my car's there, i'll ask him to have a look and get some rough prices.
