Koni STR.T or jamex coilovers ?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

looking to upgrade the suspension but not sure which route narrowed it down to these two due to cost constraints.

Done some searches as well and there doesn't seem to be negative about either

cheers :)

If they are gong on an Octy vRS, then please make sure the poundage is correct, as not many company's make coilovers for the Octy vRS.

If you use the search, this has been discussed before.

Don't know about the others, but you should maybe be aware that the STR.Ts are non-adjustable...

cheers forgot to say going on 1.8t 4x4 elegance.

Did do a search your right subject has been discussed about but just these have not been compared so just wondering which would be a better investment a decent branded fixed springs & shock kit or a budget name coilover kit :)

Do you really need coilovers?

If not, then Koni FSD's with standard springs would probably be better.

A budget coilover set is just that, "A BUDGET SET".

I do agree the unfortunate thing is they cost above my budget

but to throw the cat amongst the pigeons I have found on demon tweeks that they are selling SPAX PSX (adjustable) supension about £25 more than the Koni STR.T non adj. suspension is that a good buy or is spax another product to avoid?

P.S sorry for being a pain in the ***:)
