Headlight Bulbs Blowing

Featured Replies

Hi,

Just had a passenger side headlight bulb blow on me, and now that its gets darker earlier at night I have you noticed that most of the bulbs on other peoples motors that do go are on the near side?

Why is this? Any ideas??

Sorry I know its a little boring but it's started to bug me now!

Em no. I'd say it's about 50/50

Really?? Maybe its just coincidence then?

never had a bulb blow on my Fabia in over 4 years

touches wood

also never had one go on the Fiat Seicento i had for 2.5 years

had to replace the aftermarket headlamp bulbs i fitted to my Cinquecento , original bulbs were still working in another car though after 4 years , and only replaced a reverse on the many minis i owned from 1987-97

50/50

Although my mates nearside bulb blew first earlier this year and his offside went just this/last week.

Cant remember which went on mine but replaced both with higher output bulbs. got 3 spare headlight bulbs now
