Young Fabia vRS owners & insurance

Featured Replies

Im 22, 2 years no claims.

Ive just had my renewal come through from Elephant at £500 fully comp.

Now for some phoning around to see if I can get it cheaper still.

Si

20, 1 year NCB and I pay £900.

Jimb0- Going down the remap route instead methinks. I'll hang onto the soft blues and fancy comfy seats, AND have some oomph as well

Regards,

Andrew

Had my renewal through from Elephant at £500,

Ive managed to get this years insurance (with More Than) down to £374 fully comp, im 22 with 2years NCB!! :D :D

Whats even better is that they do not charge extra for re-maps, they will only charge if you change the cc of the engine.

Am I happy or what?!! he he

I have an Ibiza FR (same car I believe)

25, licensed for 5 years, 2 years NCB and 1 accident.. £480 I think it was...

hey im new to this, should be picking up my fabia vRS later on in the week but i cant seem to get an insurance quote lower than £2700!!!

im 19, 0 NCB, PE postcode

what am i doing wrong??

lol

who seems to be the cheapest for insuring the vRS??

it'll mean me paying more than on my current car a pug 206 GTi HDi...and thats a group 11!

What're you doing wrong? 0NCB is what you're doing wrong I'm afraid.

I had terrible trouble at 19 (still 19 now) getting insurance with 1 year NCB!

Ended up staying with NFU Mutual at £1500 a year.

yeah but surely it shouldnt be cheaper because its a lower group....

ahhhh i hate all these high prices! im not a boy racer! grr

oh well i'll keep looking!

No but the car is worth more to replace should you turn it on it's roof :)

It also usually hapens that when a "younger" driver does see everything go wrong and they hit somebody else, it tends to be something expensive :)

You're car might not have a major value, however what you can potentially run in to does.

Im 21, 2 years no claims, no modifacations £620

The problem is, i had the accident 2 weeks after passing my test, and it was only a small rear ender, in a 2001 fiesta. Not had an accident since, touch wood. But yea i totally agree in declaring the mods, aswell with driving the car respectfully.

!!

what insurance company was this?!?!
