  • It´s not mine, I wouldn´t go into such massive conversion. It belongs to one Skodahome member, his previous car was this astonishing Felicia. I definitely will try to keep you all informed

Hi pluto i'm actually going to buy the gen 2 kit from Vlastimil and i'm just wondering what size wheel spacers are you using I'm thinking 50mm will be enough with standard wheel offset and do the bumpers and front wings have the original mounting points or do you have to fabricate brackets for them any info would be appreciated thanks

Pads 50 mm wheels enough. Mounting fenders and wings can be made to the original holders. Something needs to be adjusted, but it's little things. Here in the gallery you can see enough detail from the reconstruction ...

I'm sure that's the guy who bought my Autocross Fabia 4x4 over from the Czech Republic for me.

He used to race it.

Yes, checked and I'm sure it's the same man. Nice guy to deal with I have to say.

So I'd have no problem buying parts from him.

Sadly the 4x4 Fabia he sold me never got finished as I wanted to do something different and ended up with a Citigo.

Yes, Vlastimil is a good deal and a good man

Thanks for the info pluto, one more question was it hard work to re-shape the inner wheel arches on the rear because looking at your build it looks like you had to cut a lot away to make them look right

Adjust the rear wheel arch was not very complicated, the process is clearly seen from the photos. The chassis is then reduced by 60mm.

P.S. Sorry for my English, I use Google Translator :-)
