brake problem

Featured Replies

have had cause for concern over my vrs brakes,it seems to get a little tail happy under braking,on anything but i nice smooth surface.

it feels like it almost wants to swap ends at times,i have noticed it more on anything other than straight line braking, slowing from speed on approach to an island for example.

the rear pads are very well worn and new ones are on order, but with only 35k on the clock i thought this odd for the rears,i can only presume that the fronts are stanrd OE fitment and theres plenty left on the front pads(and discs on both ends tbh).i can't honestly say that they feel like they are binding or sticking on,but it does seem to be over sensitive on the rear end braking.

got chating to a mate the other night and he suggested that maybe the fronts aren't doing there bit and it makes it feel like the back end is over braking,or maybe the front pads have been cooked, any suggestions please

My rears worn out a lot quicker than my fronts too. So when the time came to replace the rears I upgraded to DS2500's front and back.

mmmmmm, odd as i was led to believe that on an fwd car they are in and around 20% of the total braking and more for stability than much else.

my last set of pagid FR's were cack, any suggestion on suppliers of ds2500?might as well do the lot and be done with it,just hopes this irradicates the problem

I got mine from Demon Tweeks. We have a contact person there who will give a 10% discount upon the mentioning of Briskoda.
