Anyone on a Ford/Puma forum?

Featured Replies

I've just stuck my Dad's missus's (sp? :D) Ford Puma 1.7 16v on Ebay classifieds tonight and wondered (without breaking any stated rules) if it can be linked to on owners forums, etc? :)

PM if you can help.

PS: I think my "detailing" (quote marks are deliberate) brought the little Poooooma up a treat!

Lovely little cars those, and a cracking engine. It's just a shame that a lot of owners didn't realise what they had (ie, brought them as shopping cars / fashion statements) and often neglected regular maintenance - they suffered chronically if they didn't get fresh oil often enough. I was actually thinking about buying one a couple of years back :)

Good luck with the sale, especially after your wash & brush up - looks great :)

Yeah - I was pleased it came up nicely, but someone like Mr Baker21 with his halogen lights and the like would soon see up close that it's swirly still. However, before it was really rough to run your hand across it and I pretty much used up an entire clay - hard work! :( But it started raining later and the beading was spot on. It was polished after with a Williams carnauba enriched polish which, considering it was cheap, did a damn fine job. :) I've just spotted myself in one of the reflections, next to the house.

Have you contacted Pusscat - I think she has been known to hang around the Puma forums

Jason,

I've been registered on RSownersclub for years (since i had my Cossie) so i can throw a link up in the "Non RS cars" for sale section if you like.

Just PM the details.

:)

Not to worry - The car sold ONE day after I put it on Ebay. Worth the time spent polishing it up!
