I Decided to start this threat to have a one stop place where people can help themself to information if theyr cars are guiving poor gas eficiency

everyone, just copy paste and add to the check list and i hope this becomes a sticky :thumbup:

1. Air/fuel Mix and Idle adjustment

2. Valve Clearance (0.25 intake / 0.20 exhaust) <-1st item to check / set

3. Air & Fuel filters (must be able to pass light through)

4. Ignition/Spark Timing <-4th item to check / set

5. Temperature should be +/- 90c

6. fuel injectors / Carburator must be clean

7. Choke System, on injector model, Temp sensor/sender

8. Piston Rings (can be checked by compresion test)

9. valve seals (can be checked by inspectin spark plugs individualy)

10. Broken/Detached Vacuum hoses

11. Head Gasket seal (can be checked by checking water lever while accelerating {should drop})

12. spark plug gap (0.80mm) <-2nd itme to check / set

13. Spark intencity / Duration <- 3th item to check / fix

After checking 1st through 4th you;ll be able to check for everything elso, if not, you might get wrong readings
