VRs - still available to order?

Featured Replies

After considering other alternatives (the main contender being an Alfa 159 JTDM 2.4 TI) I've more or less decided to change to another VRs, this time the diesel.

I'm not sure that I'm prepared to wait for the facelifted VRs though and am not keen on the looks anyway so the question is how much longer will the current VRs be available to factory order? I assume until the facelift VRs is available?

From what I've heard so far is. The RS is not getting the facelift on the outside as it would have cost too much with the different bumpers to the normal Octavia's, but the interior will be revamped.

So same exterior but with new interior

That's interesting although the interior changes are minimal anyway aren't they?

If they're not changing the exterior of the VRs that suits me just fine

I placed order for new vRS yesterday non face lift don't like the look of the new one and I can't see Skoda bringing out a new model and not face lift the vRS would be silly,When I emailed Skoda to check when the new face lift vRS would be out I was told 2nd quarter in 09.

I have gone for an estate in white, diesel with dsg, and my dealer informed me that the paddle shift now comes as standard on the vRS with dsg so roll on 09,with 12-14 week build time on order.

I'm looking at getting a white hatch but not sure about the DSG. Could be an expensive option if I don't like it.

Did you get a good discount? I'm looking at leasing mine.

I saw a very nice white Estate this morning, TDI unregistered and at a very good price.

Ill be picking up my CR TDi vRS on Monday :)

Looking forward to it!

Its a DSG but I dont think it has paddle shifts as wasnt a personal factory order I took one from pool stock of cars cos I needed it for 17th november for my new job and couldn't wait 3 months

It was a october 08 build though so I can cross my fingers I guess...

only other extras were the standard 08 vRS spec.cruise, and a rear sensors. didnt have a large number of cars to choose from to be honest, its a Race blue finish which is pretty popular.

got a fantastic price and solutions deal from Simpsons Preston

I hope I will be happy with the car

thats odd cos the dealer I was at when I ordered mine last week said theyd stopped producing and only the built stuff was left. thats a bit of a ****ter if they were lying as i wanted a white one but settled for a blue one :(

It's even a DSG!

White vRS Estates with Sunset Glass do look very cool. Well I think so anyway, but then again I'm the kind of person that would if I could afford it buy a White Maybach just because I can.
