Thanks Lex, I sprayed it myself in the shed using halfords mixed paint .It took a long time due to the weather,but it has turned out ok I think. Im sorry i didnt get back to you with some pics of my catch can install, but ive only just retrieved my camera from the kids :o.I also think i need a bit more practice using photobucket as the pictures are a little on the large side lol:P. If still needed ,ill post some up when i work out how to do it properly.:thumbup:

Looks good, did you spray the whole bumper or just the strips? also did you use a compressor or cans?

I did the whole bumper , it was bright red when i got it , so i plastic primed it, then gave it five coats of primer (wet sanding between each one) ,then four coats of halfords diamond silver aerosol paint (again wet sand between coats ) and finally four coats of clear laquer. After about a week I wet sanded the laquer with VERY fine wet and dry and then used some paint restorer to bring up the gloss. Last of all ,I used some Carbonaura wax to seal it all and leave a polished finish ,and overall im pleased with the way it turned out.

Dave,

Thats come up really nice. Glad your happy with the bumper, wish I'd kept it for mine :(

Did you find you have a slightly grainy look from using the cans?

When i did my grille it was an excellent finish, just ever so slightly grainy.

Tbh i am a little tempted to buy the paints and use my compressor on mine, 110k is starting to show on the bumper.

good job there mate:thumbup::thumbup:

Martin -- it actually turned out very smooth , maybe more by luck than judgement as Iwas a bit dubious about sanding it after the final coat of laquer, but after aplying the paint restorer and polishing up ,it came up smooth. Dave.

Reded2 -- The wheels are 17 inch Mak wheels and ive not lowered it yet but its on the agenda for next spring.-- Dave

looks sexual

love the wheels
