Radio Prauge web site.......(sad I know I am).............. have disclosed that Skoda (VW) are moving Skoda into Beijing so it can be built there.

VW are already built in Chinna and are well known & respected,unlike Skoda so.............they will disguise the Octivia with a VW badge !!

Simple !! VW wants to double its capactiy in the Chineese plants & India.

To that = Skoda is a re bagded VW perhaps some one can supply VW badges for Skodas or swap TVR badges for Skodas.

So does this mean the closure of the Czech plants, or are we talking additional production to fill another market?

This is additional production so Skoda can crack the Chinese markets.

As the original posts (and someone i spoke to in Czech) says, the cars will be re-badged as VW's, though i suspect this will change in the future
