Featured Replies

I have been searching on here for info and found some interesting stuff about these two products. Has anyone compared them as im not sure what to go for? i like the idea of the blue glow from the blue vision but everywhere on the net say the x-treme is the better bulb! what would you recommend for styling and performance! thanks again

X-treme, I think the blue ones look a bit... erm... stupid :)

The "Bluevision" are yellower than the xtreme

I'm currently using Halfrauds All Weather H3 bulbs for my high beam - they not bad but could be better.

I have BlueVision sidelights, Xtreme dippeds, and Osram Nightbreakers on the main beam. A cracking combination, I have to say!

if you want the blue tint go for philips diamond vision. Best bulb i ever brought and everyone thinks there xeons. here is a comparison with another philips bulb, the xtreame ones i think.

I know what bulb I would prefer to see in the dark with out of those two.

The x-tremes dont have a blue tint at all in my eyes, just a very thick white light.

Get the x-tremes, they really are worth it.

Philips diamond vision are not legal for road use in the European Union.

Philips X-Treme's for performance.

Where did you find that? Im not saying your right or wrong but I have never had any problems and I think they light up the road 100 times butter then the x-treams i had.

intresting, my bulbs don't have that eu thing printed on them, but i have had them a long time, might be an older version.

Legal bulbs will be 'E' marked. The Phillips bulbs are decent quality, if not a bit pricey. You could always buy some carrots and munch on them while driving at night. :D

Fitted X-Treme's to mine the other day after one of my originals failed. Got free sidelights too as I got them from Powerbulbs.com. PITA to change them on the N/S as the battery is very close but still managed it. So far they are brighter with a whiter light than standard. Need to test them on a dark country lane to know for sure hpw much better they are. Same things made a huge difference on my old BMW though....those things comes with candles fitted as standard. :(

I use the X-Tream ones in my car

Drove home tonight after work and got the opportunity to drive down a non streetlit road....the X-treme bulbs are quite a bit brighter than standard. Light up the back of the car in front really well and the beam reaches further than the old bulbs. Pleased with my purchase. :)
