phone recommendation - getting confused!

Featured Replies

I currently use a handheld PC, with built in GPS & TomTom Sat Nav. I use the hand held mainly to syncronise MS Outlook (not Outlook Express) data with both my PC at work and at home.

I would like to replace this and my phone with one device and am getting a bit lost as to what phone does what.

One shop recommended an iPhone but it doesn't have proper Sat Nav and I but i'm not sure that it syncronises directly with Outlook.

An Xda was another suggestion.

Camera or music capabilities not important. and monthly usage is currently only about 100 min + a few texts.

Any views or recommendation greatly appreciated.

I'd recommend a Samsung Omnia, had mine just 1 week but it's a really capable smart phone. WinMob 6.1, WiFi, 16GB internal memory, and comes with MS Sync. It does so much I'm still discovering little 'easter eggs'. The best bit is it's really fast compared to my N95.

Get a Blackberry.

You could get rid of the whole lot for just one device. The Bold and The Storm are good pieces of kit.
