Octavia Won't Start? try this...

Hi,

If your having these symptoms:

Lights go on and of as usual at ignition (including immobiliser light)

Engine turns for 1 second then dies

starter motor disengages but still spins when key is kept turned on

then Check your Anti Shudder Valve

this just worked for me after 2 days of head scratching and changing the starter motor (:()
