The Project is signed off & they held off production because they didn't have enough 7 Speed DSG gearboxes.................They do now!

I think the s2000 Rally car looks ok but abit to much like the Swift for my liking. Every new hatchback car the comes out seems to look like the New Corsa or a spin off of the New Mini. I think the Fabia I is a much better looking car then the new shape.

And as stated above i cant see Skoda pushing to bring out a new model of the Fabia II when car sales are at a massive low.

I think the new Seat Ibiza Cupra is a good choice for people that cant wait for the new vRS (if it ever gets built). Now that looks the nuts

The Fabia VRS sold very well in this country and still does and certainly holds its value well especially if you have a Special Edition. The new Fabia VRS was put off as it didnt sell aswel in the rest of Europe but they will be bringing it back in 2010 when they do a face lift as it is more cost effective. It will definately be having the 1.4TSI engine but the out put we do not know yet but have reason to believe that it will be up around the 170 mark but there is no talk of a diesel yet but thet could come later much like the Octavia.

Skoda auto along with the rest of the VAG group are among the few manufactures that has actually up'd their market share on last years figures and will definately be bringing out a face lift fabia in early-mid 2010

Just wonder WHEN we see vRS for us?

2010 looks likely although most car manufactures are moving their facelifts forward, i wouldn't be shocked to see it by Sept ish 09:-

Has anyone else noticed? The Fabia VRS has disappeared from Autocar's "What's Coming When" section. The Yeti is still listed for an appearance in October 2009 - but no VRS. It looks as though the only way of getting an equivalent will be to buy the Seat version - the Ibiza 1.4 TSI Cupra. Seat Ibiza Cupra (2009) with pictures and wallpapers

This is currently listed (in Autocar) at just £10295 for 178 bhp - can this be correct?

It will never happen......

It's a shame they don't allow them to be supercharged as well as turbocharged (WRC version of the S2000 that is). Anyone for a cup of Group B tea? :)

with the current climate i wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't one at all, its not like new cars are selling well let alone the less popular higher spec'd versions.

I see your point but a higher spec'd Fabia compared to a Polo or Golf will sell better than them because of Skoda's general cheaper prices in comparison.

Or so I presume so anyway. I think this was the case with the Org Fabia vRS which made it so popular in the first place.

Only time will tell but I suspect there will be a vRS 2 coming soon. The demand is definately there and I will be one of many in the Que for one when ever that will be.

That looks DISGUSTING in my honest opinion! They got that design all wrong looks like its been chiseled by someone who styled the Corsa VXR.

It will never happen......

Oh Ye of little faith! Think youve spent too much time in the Octy mate and need a drive in a Furby to remind you the ways of a Jedi driver.

The demand is there mate Im sure it will get built but its just watching paint dry for now :(
