Jabbasport Fabia VRS??

Featured Replies

So thats 2 turbos its been through since i have had it then?... nice

The first owner tryed to put nos on and blew the turbo that was on it when i had it, so he bought a standard spec pd150 hybrid bolted that on and didnt think to get the map turned down, hence why it went again, its most probably running on a standard pd150 turbo now! but still mapped for the Jabba spec one

Oh dear!

can anyone else hear the sound of a blowing turbo?

Sounds a bit of a Shed to be honest but it was such a nice car - real shame... i even considered buying it when it was for sale first time just the mileage was an issue 98k!! and that was a year ago

I thought the same when i read 36k

Being Golf/Polo based I imagine they're so easy to clock. Cables on ebay will do it for £20.

I wouldn't be concerned too much about the mileage, but I think 8k's a bit steep with 136k on it!!!

please show me a £20 cable that can clock it.

you can't clock the car with vagcom if that is what you are thinking.

Any old OBDII lead will do it. Hooked up to a laptop and a freely available program and the car is clocked. I think it's called VAGTacho.

Not a good idea to tell the world about this stuff

Everyone will be clocking their cars

Let me remind everyone thats its a CRIMINAL offence to sell your car for an extra premium because you have altered the mileage or paid someone to alter the mileage for you.

Its not hard to weasel out a clocked car these days, with computer MOT certificates, Hpi and DVLA records all available on line, and contacting previous owners and garages that have seen the car.

Anyone who thinks they are looking at a clocked motor should contact trading standards.

And if you find out that you have bought one from a dealer also contact TS.

Clocking is rife now and a load of scumbags are making pots of money at YOUR expense.

no need to clock mine,14k miles from new cos its allways broken:O

The majority of people on this site will know of this program. It's also got other purposes, and is used mostly for mileage correction when fitting a new dash pod.

It's easy not to buy a clocked car - if it hasn't got any paperwork don't buy it. Simple as.
