Is a carbon bonnet is out of the question? lol

Fancied a carbon splitter or spoiler but think it might be too much work...............

yeah a bonnet is too big as I need to bake it, so a splitter is out for now also as my oven isnt big enough, sorry, although I do plan a bigger over after the new year...

hi all, after speaking to Dan it seems what I thought was a fabia interior is in fact from an octavia.. lol.. oops...

so I'll finish this set off and give them to dan to put in his car... he can then post pics up on here for people to see..

i too have a spare engine cover,and as it appears you could be reaonably local to me maybe i could drop it off as a test piece:D(i think i'm a reasonably well established member on here too)while i am there we could take a look at the rest of the fabia trim for you to make an assesment;)

hi oilburninnut.. I'm in Beverley so by all means you can pop round with the engine cover, curtis is sending me one down after xmas but another one wont hurt, I'm not interested in selling these for loads of money, I just want to try and see if they are doable and perhaps get a couple on cars...

quick update, the interior I have is actually from an octavia, but i'll post pics here anyway, for now I'll piost up the unfinished ashtray... it will all be done hopefully tonight so i''ll post more pics then, and dan should have it by weekend so he can fit it and report back...

if anyone has some interior actually from a fabia then I'm happy to buy it to have a go at carbonning it..

I'd be very interested in some wing mirrors! I'll try and find a spare set that I can send off to you if you like?! And maybe a couple other wee bits and pieces if I think of anything...

no worries keez, can have a look at least... if you can take the glass out that would be a lot better for me... again not particularly bothered about loads of money for these at the minute while I'm getting the feel for the skoda bits, just cover my costs mate..

Just trying to think which bits you could do for a Fabia. Maybe the ashtray lid again? Surround round the gearstick?
