Fabia video

Featured Replies

Yep - I seen it before. I think the accord and the M3 got bad starts IF the fabia is only 190hp like claimed. Noticed it had a side exit exhaust though.

What does your car make type rs look like jason?

I just don't see it myself. I'm sure I've seen elsewhere that that car was running a lot more than 190bhp. Even if it was running 260bhp, I'd still expect an M3 to give it a better run for it's money than that, surely?

I can give type R's a good seeing to usually. ;) Not in the realms yet of handing them their backsides on a plate - It will keep up with a CTR no problems - in a straight line anyway.

That's not my car in the vid. I'm sure that's from a drag event ran in Czech Republic - on the Mimon airfield, that I and a few others here, have actually driven down, just not on an organised event like this.

Sorry, I was asking how your car compares to Civic Type Rs on 1/4 mile runs - was looking to compare your 260hp car to the 190hp (claimed) in the video :)

I have seen your car on youtube doing some 1/4 mile runs... haven't I? Or am I dreaming of things? :D

I'd say thats running more than 190brake.

Are you being modest Jason? Or joking? Seriously - CTR's didnt have a look in against mine

Probably modest, but then I have never really messed with one properly. I just know my car can be quick when it wants and conditions allow. Have been spinning up 2nd gear all night tonight without much effort. :o Now is not the time to be racing CTRs I think - maybe from 70 - 130. :D

Atleast you can get grip, i run mine round in front wheel drive most of the time a but at the min it takes till 90-100mph ish in 4th till it starts to get grip :thumbdwn: (on a track of course)

Remember that a remapped vRS has more torque than a standard M3. My car will pull away from Type R's between 30-70mph in third.

and? a Merc Citaro has something like over 1000Nm of torque
