Yep. underneath the A pillar trim it is just heald on by a screw, you can pick one up from the dealer for pennies.

Gimme 10 mins and i'll get a part number for you.

I assume I have to pull the A pillar trim away in which case. Does it pull away in the same manner as the boot lid trim? (Ie give it a big tug and be prepared to replace some of those stupid metal clips?)

IIRC you have to peel back the door rubber and it is 2 or 3 of those triangular clips that hold it on .

Can it be retrofitted to cars without one, or does it require a new A pillar trim?

Just realised the other day after owning the car for 18 months that it didn't have one!

I assumed that because SWMBOs car did mine would too.

~I'm guessing it would fit onto any Si, I cant recall the pillar trim being any different, looking through the part numbers it only shows different colours, other than that they appear the same.

you will need the screw to go with it though which is :N 104 149 01

Probably for less than a quid its worth a shot
