There are other companys out there the same as vagparts...GSF etc...but a real shame they're not going to manage to keep going.

our own Jorily should be able to help as well.

To be honest it did get to the point lately that with postage; Vagparts weren't that much cheaper than my local dealer, and in one case Stafford Audi actually beat them by £10 on a £170 order including VAT and Postage.

Plus the turn around form order enquiry to recieveing parts was getting longer and longer. Seems a rather rapid decent though.

I agree with the postage comment above, but on the whole i found VAGparts to be more use than my local VAG dealers and i could often get the part quicker through them.

I was going to buy the CC stalk for mine next year from them. Nevermind.

Got carrier callipers from them and the service was pretty good. It's a shame, but there are others out there.

I had a sniff of this on ASN the other night but didn't feel able to post it as I couldn't confirm it, tried google etc.

It's a real shame to lose VAGParts from the community, they are not always better on price (that's the way it goes) but on the whole they are and not to mention much more helpful and willing than your average parts monkey.

Sad to see this happen to a personal friend - proof that the credit crunch is real.
