every now and again , im getting this problem . it happens on choke and as soon as choke turns off it revs ok .

some times to when you been driving and come to a junction and stop , revs drop down alittle and the car shakes alittle .

also , my foot is flat on the pedal when this happens and the it catchs it and revs ok and the happens again as you see in the video .

Quite probably an issue with the throttle body. I'd say a clean out and reset with diagnostic equipment.

I had a similar problem with mine when I first got it, revs would drop off to almost stalling and then revved back up again. I cleaned the trottle body and it sorted it straight away and has been fine ever since.

might try this over xmas , car has only done 42k on a Y Reg . ill report back over xmas .

whats the best cleaner to clean the TB with ?

I used Isopropyl on mine and that worked well, but I don't know if it's the best. Handy to have around if you need to try to rejuvinate an iffy MAF before replacing it.
