Well after a year or so of having the splitter on the front of the car it finally came off last night.

Driving along as 60mph and heard a massive thump and scrape! Pulled over to find the splitter half off. Guessing a large stone hit it as it literally ripped the plastic off.

Don't think i'll bother getting a new one, seem to scrape it more and more often lately!

Also my intercooler vent I put into the arch liner is half hanging off now, any ideas what the cost is for a new one (drivers side).

I rock at mods!

Dont know how you guys manage with a splitter,i have enough bother trying to not scrape my bumper

Ethos, My splitter is getting more and more knocked now I have lowered the car with Weitecs. May take it off in the new year, getting fed up driving to a halt in multi story car parks to get up / down the ramps.

The arch vent is around 22 quid direct from Audi dealers. From same year TT model.

My wheel arch vent is now redundant, as I fitted Forge FMIC the other day. Shame you are not closer would have exchanged for a complete drivers arch for my modded one..

I've just snapped my third one since April. I dont now how many times i can re-screw the holes in my bumper now though.

Sorry, I think I didn't explain it properly. The vent I took out of the TT liner and put into my original liner has half come off. Semi tempted to just buy a stock one from Skoda. Didn't REALLY notice any difference from it in summer!

Yeah, I didn't mind the odd scrape. I'm guessing we hit something for it to break off like that.

mine is lowered and so far i jus scrape it slightly in the middle as i have made it bow slightly.

must admit it is my second as i marked first on a curb and didny like the way i put it on. if this goes t1ts ill not bother wi another.
