New to Skoda

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Apolagies for the delay between registering and introducing myself. I have been pilfering the forums for technical info for the last few months and was starting to feel guilty :o

I have a 1999 Octavia Tdi 90, problems I've had with it so far have been a mixture of bad luck and neglect from previous owner  (steering rack went :o , MAF was buggered :( , relay 109 failed  ), but I'm putting these behind me, and settling in to Skoda ownership.

I have to do a lot of driving in my job, and I have found the Octy brilliant. It gives me 60mpg every time, and now running a Pierburg MAF it performs pretty well too!! :D

Work outstanding is rear brake replacement - does anybody know a cheap place for new drums ?(ECP claim it's dealer only, even when I gave them the ATE part number!!!!!!), i've also got a PDC kit to install and Big K has a PM regarding Cruise.

Cheers,

GregS

How about JM Butt & Co or whatever they're called?

Welcome by the way
