Was wondering if anyone here has fitted this kit?

It apparently allows for elimination of the secondary air injection system on the VAG petrol 1.8T.

Anyone with experiences positive or negative?

hmm good idea, its only used to reduce emissions on startup, but i would imagine it would put a fault in the memory if removed and blanked, but unsure it it will bring a light on or not, be a pretty good weight saved too if it was removed lol,

Too much work in my opinion!

I've considered this a few times now, I hate the poxy air system!

I just don't like the idea of the resistor trick and improper flow error code.

One day I'd like to fit an aftermarket ECU, and then removing all the emissions junk will be easy.

Damn you santa for not bringing me a Motec M400!!
