Hello from Loftie

Featured Replies

Good morning All,

I just thought I would say hello, as I am a first time caller, long time listener. Taken advice from this forum for the past two years and think its about time I started to help others (if possible).

Loftie, as our furby is known, is a stock Skoda Fabia 1.2 Classic Sport (see pics), but since ownership have fitted Falken tyres on the front (decent grip, not too loud on the motorway) and have just purchased some aero's as I recon the windscreen needs decent wipers (the PIAA's were a bit too ugly and expensive although I may live to regret that decision). Just looking into getting an ARB fitted, as the body roll on the car can be quite terrifying under "defensive driving".

Not being a vRS owner, I am in the shadows when it comes to performance, but other than the body roll the 1.2 pulls well, and does make a decent sound when you rev the nuts off it. Thinking about getting some decent brakes fitted too, but it is going in for a service on Monday, so will wait to see what they advise - im thinking TT brakes may be a little on the extreeme side for a 1.2!

Thank you to all those that have given advice in the past, it has proven to be invaluable, and I look forward to chatting in the future.

All the best

John
