Fab Rs I/C water spray?

Featured Replies

Modded Fabia vRS (blue flame full system + remap) is it worth getting I/C waterspray??

think I remember Ross mentioning high measured intake temps on modded PD engines??

my car deffinately has felt more sluggish on v hot days, but this could be my brain temp :D

Thnx

It would be better to get an FMIC.

where is it located on the vrs

yep :D

but much more expensive? I could get the inteligent water spray for 120 ish from the australian suppliers and would just need to pay my dealer to fit (or be brave and diy it, presumably an FMIC would be big bucks?

so I take it you think it would be worth taking some action on the I/C cooling?

yep :D

Come on then. What's it like...... ;)

err.... I don't realy know m8

I never drove the car without it, and have not driven another fabia so comparison is impossible. car feels pretty good but it was allready mapped by jabba so it should feel fairly quick anyway.

I should be in a position to throw you some figures soon as the car is due to be mapped again now the exhaust system is on, so I should have a comparison of a mapped car and a car mapped with full system, i will let you know when it's done.

only thing I can tell you is that it looks very nice (single round tail pipe)

have got strut brace and suspension to go on hopefully next week as well

Dan,

If there is space...how about the i/c from the Golf PD 150? It's bigger and if you find one off a crashed Golf will be fairly cheap.

where did you get your Furby from? Jabba told me where the development car for the Blueflame system was provided from.;)

Hi Dan

Just booked mine in for a jabba re map, was contemplating the blue flame system but a bit unsure (a bit pricey). Will be interesting to see what difference it makes when you get the new re map.

Would you say your car with its blue flame exhaust sounds any different to a standard fabia? Hope the answer is yes cos i recon the standard VRS is just too quiet. I know its never going to sound like a V8 but something more sporting would be great (boy racer at heart :D !!).

Anybody out there done any other exhaust mods (back box, de cat etc)?

I know some of the diesel VW boys are running bike cans and they say that they have a more sporty note.

car still sounds rubbish cos its a diesel, blue flame sounds a bit different but not much......... but who cares cos it makes your car go quicker ;)
