Righto - I'll draw a line under the first phase, so to speak.

I will be glad to arrange a phase two if I can get another 11 or 12 members interested, so start from scratch on this thread please.

For the first folks committed -

Payment is expected by Paypal to [email protected] it's best put down as a gift but remember it is you that pays the Paypal fee, not me!

Discount £2 if you are down for more than one and we can adjust if needed.

Post up an entry to confirm payment with your transaction number please. When everyone has paid, I'll set the wheels in motion. Many thanks. :)

Done. I'll drop you a PM with transaction details etc.

Steve

Payment made by Paypal but sent as 'goods', sorry bud but I dont know you from 'Adam' so I aint sending you any money as a 'gift'!

That's fair enough. I'm now told that there seem to be no fees anyway, not when one of the guys paid as gift, but I'm ok by either. :)

Payments progressing well, although to cover myself I'm waiting until they're all accounted for, just to be on the safe side. I'll keep you all informed how things are standing as we go along. Many thanks.

Doesn't matter anyway - gift sending still attracts a payment fee - good ol' PayPal

Steve

I know this is going to sound stupid - However, I must state if you wish to get payment - Please do send a PM to people on the list. (They arn't all regular users)

I have sent payment and a PM.

(How long will these take to be sent out?)

Many thanks,

Rob

:bump: how we doing on this?

....... a list current list of those that have paid and those that have not would help :)

Hi all :)

Just got back online today - been some nasty bugs going round lately and me, the Mrs. and the nipper have been confined to bed with a right dodgy bout of D & V I'm afraid.

Looking at the emails from Paypal, I've got six payments in meantime. As soon as I get the rest through I'll get going - I'll keep you all posted on progress. Many thanks.

I'll pay as soon as I sort my Paypal password problems out when I get home tonight.

Whats the cost including the Paypal fee? Not really keen to send it as a gift, but don't know what the fee would be as "goods", or is it £13.75 all in?

Cheers

Tom.

Tom - a PayPal fee will be applied in addition to the £13.75, and the same no matter which PayPal sending type you choose. Total will be £14.42.

HTH,

Steve.

Cheers Steve.

So a gift means I pay the fee, goods mean he does... is that right??

Paid, and PM'd you the transaction ID.

A gift means you'll find it a lot lot harder to get a paypal refund if you were to have problems (not that I'm saying you will)

If you have a bank account connected or you have cleared Paypal balance funds available, there are no fees.

I thought to have a paypal account you had to have a bank account linked to it for when you want to send money you don't have in the actual account balance? The above came partially from my balance, but mainly from my bank account.

The fees only come off if you are funding the purchase from a credit card, which is the most common method of funding.

Not so. I paid via my linked bank account.

Then I'm almost 100% certain you shouldn't have paid a fee.

PM sent and payment made.

pm sent and payment made :)

Ross - could we have an up-to-date list posted with the number of people who've paid up for this? And an update on when we might expect the wax to arrive would be helpful.

Thanks,

Steve.

Just one more to pay, then I'll get the GB rolling...

If I'm still waiting by this weekend, then I'll double check who it is and PM them.

Thanks to the three who trusted me enough to pay as a gift. Thanks to the two who didn't, but covered the fees so I actually received £13.73 ( near enough for me). A small raspberry to the four who left me with the fees and therefore £13.08. I'm new to this kind of thing, so I'll have to get a little more savvy for the next one, which if all is going well and is OK'd by the mods is going to be Meguiars Last Touch.

The key is to find the amount where £13.50 is the net amount after 20p + 3.4%. In this case, the amount is £14.18 (roughly - 3.4% = 48p + 20p gets you back to £13.50) PS: Appreciate the efforts you're putting in. Looking forward to giving the mongrel a good spring valet ready for the show season. The collinite will finish it off very nicely.
