Wideband Lambda Sensor for Air/Fuel Gauge

Featured Replies

Got my gauges fitted but I didn't realise that I would need a wideband sensor and digital gauge to get a truly accurate reading for air/fuel ratio. As it is at the moment I have an autogauge air/fuel ratio gauge using narrowband which annoys me a bit because the reading tends to be a bit all over the place. Would the readings be more a lot more accurate using a wideband sensor like this one with my current gauge?

Wideband lambda systems

Or do i really need to get a proper wideband display aswell as the sensor?

Thanks

Chris

Which sensor did you wire it into?

You have a broadband (wideband) sensor anyhow before the cat (five/six pin).

What have others done that have an air/fuel ratio gauge?
