Convenience System Control Unit - Do I have one?

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

Long story cut short, I need to know if I have a Convenience System Control Unit in my Fabia. It's a W (2000) Fabia 1.4 MPi Classic. It does not have electric windows, electric mirrors or central locking so my guess would be a no but I don't want to pull my dash apart unless theres an easy way to find out.

Cheers Guys!

any ideas people?

I dont think so, as its used to control the leccy windows and central locking.

I thought they all had one as there are inputs from lighting circuits and wipers (according to the wiring diagram). Does it not control courtesy delay/wiper delay? I thought it was sited above the accelerator pedal so should be fairly easy to spot?

I would doubt it but i am sure if someone in your area has Vag-Com they could do a quick scan for you.

Its above the clutch pedal if you do.
