Featured Replies

Got...and put on my seat sport strut brace today... whent to have a little play... first impressions are pretty good... much more noticeable than first imagined.... car is now much more predictable  I just can't wait untill my KW V2 turns up (should be very soon :D ) going to order the lower brace tomorrow aswell (unless I buy my minibike :D )

but now I wanna know what the score is with the anti roll bars... what if any is anyone running? what makes, were from and how much, is there one on the back?? are they making a difference

thanks in advance

Dan

I'm this (put your thumb and forefinger together) close to going for the Eibach front and rear kit fitted. Talking to James at JBS he reckons it would be a good compromise for me. I don't want to make the ride any harder as I spend too much time driving on terrible roads so new springs etc are out of the question but firming up the handling with new ARBs would be a good halfway mod.

James was online a minute ago if you need more info.

Sorry, a bit confused. I've just noticed this is a Fabia thread but your sig says you've got an Octavia

oops I forgot to update my profile... yes I did have an Octy vRS but I stoved it into a barrier at 86mph :D so it was a bit of a mess.

as a result of this I am now playing with the kids in my ikle Furby :D

I'm not sure anybody does ARB kit's for the Furby yet. H&R do a kit for the Furby, but not vRS specific, so not sure if it's any better than standard. Don't forget the vRS ARB is thicker than the standard Fabia.

What size is the front ARB on the furby vRS. The new Ibiza cupra TDI is 19mm. Think the Ibiza FR is 18.

iirc the Fabia vRS is 20mm, but might be 19mm as I measured it a long time ago. I seem to remember its the same diameter as the uprated H+R item for the non vRS Fabia.

Just had a quick look on the web and the Ibiza Cupra is 20mm and the FR is 19mm.

According to motorsportworld.co.uk eibach do a 22mm front ARB for the polo 9n. Would this fit a furby?

More than likely it will.

Have you tried Skoda Motorsport? Thinking that maybe the group N or group A Fabias may have uprated ARBs.

Any idea how thick the ARB is on the non vRS Fabia? Am tempted by the Eibach kit - it looks like there's a front and rear ARB in this - am I right or is the pic misleading? ;)

How do you contact them, -do they have a website?
