Finally getting around to getting all my suspension parts together so I can get the whole lot one and done in 1 weekend!

Just won a Bilstein Streetline kit on ebay for £110 (springs & shocks), Whiteline ARB, Seat Ibiza Sport front strut brace.

Only other things I have to buy are the Polbushes for the front end - what ones are available? Also probably going to get a set of the Seat Console bushes too (anyone got a part number?)

Still got tyres to order for my 17" TT rims too! 2 wheels are fully polished, 1 is on the last stage and the last one is still to get started!

One of my other cars is hopefully selling soon and that should free up enough £££ for an exhaust and remap by AngelTuning! Got a quote from my insurance today for the increase in power and as long as I dont go about 170bhp it will only cost me £20.11!!

I'm still enjoying my VRS - clutch slip has stopped and i've started driving it through the gears more instead of being a lazy sod with the torque in 5th & 6th! But i'm only getting an average of 45-48mpg - upto 53mpg on a long run. How are people getting such high MPG out of theres??

Cupra console bush part number is 6LL 407 183 :)

Some people think it's been superceded by 6QL 407 183 A - but I'd ask for the first part number first...

mpg is up and down due to the change in the temp so much, what you getting is about the same as me, dont worry about it, just make sure your tyres are all at the correct PSI

^^^ I agree, that MPG is decent given the colder weather. Anything below 8c I find my MPG goes down by about 10%. Combined with turbo cleaning sessions of course

How do you clean the turbo?

I'm currently awaiting a catch tank for the CCV, but i'm not removing the EGR at the moment - my old GTD Mk2 Golf use to be bad for the CCV! It looked like Tar!

you will realy love the new suspenshion.

All my bushes are powerflex, one thing thou. Don't forget to get the front ARB bushes done. These are some times forgotten and when they need doing you need to drop the subframe again.

I looked at Bilstein Streetlines, but couldn't find a supplier that would confirm they actually made them for the Fabia vRS

lmao seeing as we'll both have polished TT comps on a black Vrs its gonna be a laugh to see who can get them on first!!

i've got all the bits aka RARB and also the wheels are in the garage polished up but waiting for my coilovers to turn up from awesome! should be here today or tomorow! so then can whack them on!! still gotta put my new wing and door on but i'll do it all in one go!

hope all goes well with the sale so you can experience the remap!! its amazing!
