Featured Replies

Hi everyone

I have had my vrs for 3 months now and i am really impessed how well the car goes .the only problem is there is a fault with the egr system and my dealer carn't fix it as it is giving a spurious code they have already changed the ecu unit any body else got this fault ?

vhu57 think you will have to give a few more details:

What has your dealer tried doing apart from changing the ecu? What are the spurious codes are you getting etc.

Not seen anyone reporting similar problems

The fault code is 19586 P3130 035

Exhaust gas recirrculation (EGR) system

control limit exceeded

sporadic

Skoda technical have never had a record of this fault code and it is not listed in any of the workshop manuals this is why it was decided to change the ecu

the fault has no effect on the running of the car but the light has been on for 2200 miles

Sure one or more of the technical people on here will be able to give you some good ideas as to what should be looked at next.

I know nothing, but I bet someone comes on and says oh you need to check for a leak on this pipe, or check that sensor etc. etc.

Never heard of anyone with a Furby vrs having problems of that nature.
