Hey guys well im in a bit of a pickle

Got 2 sets of wheels.... OEM 16's and some 17's, the 17's are on the car at the minute but the tires will need replaced soon.... so do i get new tires for them or for the OEM wheels.... ?

Both wheels will be going anthracite / black

I say 17's so long as you change the centre caps for skoda or VRS badges

16s look tiny when its lowered that much but i do really like the 17's, bit different but it suits them!!

Paint the inner of the 17s black and leave the lip silver or polish it. Gonna be mint.

How much is the car lowered? It looks good on the 17's at that height, I agree with chris888 that the 16's look a bit small. With regard to anthracite, why do people like it so much? It just looks like dirty wheels to me. Surely polished silver is going to catch peoples eye:confuse:

been theyre done that got the t-shirt... polished wheels aint for me due to the maintenance they require... i like anthracite because 2 reasons really... on a black car i think it will look 'mean' and they dont require cleaning

theyre aftermarket... Ace 100's i think... were originally chrome... then the lad refurbed the centre spokes black... and then refurbed them all silver which is when i bought them

If it were my car, i would say the 17's.

I hate stand vRS wheels! 17s all the way.

The OEM's look good in Anthracite, you should consider doing that and keeping the others as they are

17's - they look good - though would keep as silver and change the badges. You can always go back to the OEM's after these tires wear out!

How is your 80/90mm on standard wheels im sure mine aint that low but it looks the same height lol but then i never measured mine so it could be lol

i dont know bud was just a guestimate... the pic with the oem wheels was with the rear adjuster rings removed so as low as it could go... front was also as low as it went and it was terrible... i have since put the adjusters back in and raised the front around 25mm
