ive been looking for another skoda, what do you make of this? guys said he will accept £2600 for it, ive been to see it, looks pretty good tbh, nice and clean inside and out, is the car known on here at all ? is that a good price?

I don't know of that car but a couple of things strike me about the pics worth paying attntion to if you go to see it.

-The bonnet seems to sit a bit high

-The interior shot is a stock press one.

I'd imagine it should have had its second cambelt change recently too, at that mileage.

Maybe the bonnets open but yeah it don't match up????

It doesn’t look open. The bottom of the grill is almost touching the bumper. Where there would be a gap if it was popped. And where is the badge from the grill. If you have a look at some valuation sites it’s a bit over valued. Especially if it’s had a prang.

think its had a bump. the 2 metal brackets will be bent imo. id be careful with that one mate have a good look under the bonet to see if there is any welding or anything that doesnt look std.

Something defo aint right at the front end, and agree with interphase about the interior pick.

Somethin definately doesn't look right on the front. There is the gap between the bonnet and lights, the off side headlight doesn't seem to line up with the indicator or bumper and the gap between the grill and bumper seems to change across the front.

Interior pick is also left hand drive!

ring up and speak to them and see if theyre honest about everything with it as its definatly had a front ender at somepoint. however i would possibly shy away due to pictures not of the car i.e interior.

is it me or does the front grill look like its been photoshopped?

lookin at the front pic looks like its hit a pole hard ish and is it me or is that a new bumper. looks to be a slight diff colour to me?

the shunt looks to have been hard enough to bend the grill brackets and the cross member thats y the lights look bit squint but only a fraction.

I'd be having worrying thoughts about that interior if they've used a stock pic... You could turn up to view it and find a 1 foot burn hole in the seats and the radio pulled out or something :eek:

Also vRS badge missing from grille, could be a sign that it's been replaced. Definately something not right with the bonnet line up. Interior is probably a mess too, thats why they have used a stock photo.:thumbdwn:

tbh there are plenty of other ones about on PH to not have to bother with that one aswell.
