Cabin noises (quality issue?)

It can as the book suggests "closing the vent when not cooling the air". Would make a bloody mess of my kids choccy if it was heated, so I think I will stick with cold only. Might even be big enought to store the odd few Becks bottles (unopened and for non driver consumption only) for those balmy evening picnics without the kids, you know the ones....green knees etc.
