As I mentioned in a previous post I have just put a deposit on a Black VRS. So I'm already thinking of little mods to do I've heard about the remaps, RARB, PD160 intakes etc but I like the little mods too.

I will be putting a cup holder in at some point but who has put a gas strut on the bonnet? How easy is it? Did you use a boot strut?

Who runs a de-cat? How much power are they worth? Have you had any MOT problems with a de-cat?

Any other ideas?

Alot of people run de-cats, do a search as there is HUNDREDS of info on this subject eg, the pros and cons

No problems with MOT's as its only a visual "smog test" and not an emission test
